Present perfect ---- I/you/we/they have done ---- he/she/it has done หมายถึงเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น เริ่มต้นในอดีต และดำเนินต่อมาถึงปัจจุบัน และอาจทำต่อไปในอนาคตด้วย มักจะใช้คำเหล่านี้ช่วยบอก for.... /since..../ recently / so far (ตลอดมา)

My brother _____ (buy) a new car last week.
We _________ (never/hear) from him since last year.
They went to Japan last summer and _______ (stay) there for 3 days.
These people ________ (live) in Bangkok for many years. They have good jobs and are very happy here.
"How's your grandfather?"
"He's just fine. I ______ (visit) him recently."
"How's your grandmother?"
"I don't know. When I _____ (visit) her last week she was OK."
John ______ (live) in Bangkok for many years before he moved to Singapore.
